Rising Damp treatment explained in new video
04 February 2009
Safeguard, UK waterproofing product specialists, have launched a new video demonstrating the application of their Dryzone damp-proofing cream.
The video, which can be viewed on their website and is also available as a free of charge DVD, explains how rising damp occurs in buildings, before going on to describe how Dryzone can be used to treat the problem.
Dryzone is the highest strength damp-proofing cream on the market with an active ingredient content of over 60%. Independent tests show that it provides a considerably more effective barrier to rising damp than lower stregth products and saves time and money rectifying a failed damp-proof course which is also a messy process, usually involving the replacement of salt contaminated plaster.
