When it comes to air quality, we haven't a clue what we're breathing most of the time.
14 September 2016
Toxic chemicals sneak around undetected in the air, and sometimes it only takes a few breaths before they affect you.
NASA carried out a study to see which plants cleaned the air the best, here's what they found. The top three plants were:
Chrysanthemum morifolium (Florists Chrysanthemum)
Spathiphyllum 'Mauna Loa' (Peace Lily)
Sanseveria trifasciata 'Laurenti' (Varigated Snake Plant/Mother in Law's tongue)
All these removed Trichloroethylene, Xylene, Formaldehyde and Benzene from the air, with the Chrysanthemum and Peace lily also getting rid of Ammonia.
At Plant Plan, we can provide these plants, among many others for your offices and other spaces.
Our team will help you choose the perfect plant for your environment, be it bright and breezy, dark and dingy or dry and dusty, we've got you covered.
