Blue Diamond is now well established as a supplier of low cost, high quality castings to manufacturers of industrial machinery and suppliers to the automotive aftermarket. Suitable for a wide variety of applications, castings can be supplied in a range of sizes and materials, including aluminium, cast iron and various alloys. Available in small or large quantities, castings can be supplied unfettled for machining by the customer, or fully machined and finished to specification.
For customers that don’t have the resources or expertise to design and engineer castings themselves, Blue Diamond offers a complete design, engineering and manufacturing service to translate ideas and concepts into volume production. Engineering drawings and technical specifications can be provided and Blue Diamond can also organise the manufacture of tooling from outside the UK, a process that results in significant cost savings.The Blue Diamond service provides all of the benefits of low cost, high quality products and assured supply, without the concerns about supplier communication, import regulations and documentation, normally associated with using suppliers outside of the EU.
Blue Diamond uses a carefully vetted group of mature suppliers to ensure that stringent quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Products are extensively checked using sophisticated test equipment prior to despatch to ensure they meet the customer’s specification. The result is a regular supply of castings of a quality commensurate with European manufacture, but at a fraction of the cost.
Where required, Blue Diamond will also take full responsibility for security of supply and stock control management, ensuring that production requirements are dovetailed into the customers systems including Kan-Ban and Just in Time.
