Cannon launch compact feminine hygiene waste disposal unit

The latest anti-bacterial technologies are used both inside and outside of the discreet and slim Cannon Compact, designed to fit the smallest areas of a cubicle.
A research project asked women for their views on feminine hygiene units, results of which were considered by Cannon Hygiene and the Cannon Compact was developed for the limited space in todays' cubicles.
Inside the unit, Activap™, a powerful and unique germicide that is effective against potentially harmful bacteria and viruses, gives full protection with no negative environmental impacts. In documented tests carried out on actual sanitary units Activap™ has proved to far exceed other infection and odour control methods by eradicating 99.999% of potentially harmful bacteria in the waste, as well as being effective against viruses including HIV and Hepatitis B and C. The addition of Polygiene® silver ion technology in the disposal lid brings the added benefit of destroying bacteria on impact and preventing cross contamination to give added protection outside of the unit.
The Cannon Compact is available in two standard finishes to continue the washroom suite of products and will complement any décor. While small and slim, the new unit does not compromise on capacity and, with the unique germicide, ensures that service frequency is not increased, keeping costs to a minimum. The new product also has a number of features to help reduce the Carbon Footprint. Activap™ contains highly effective yet entirely natural ingredients which pose no threat to the environment while the compact design means more units on service vans and reduced fuel consumption.
