Chemical free cleaning from Hoshizaki

A revolutionary, new, chemical free and ultra effective cleaning system is being launched by Hoshizaki.
The award winning* ROX machine is the first of its kind in the UK and probably Europe. It takes ordinary tap water and transforms it into Alkaline ‘E’ Water and Acidic ‘E’ Water which, between them, can fulfil almost all cleaning and sanitising requirements - from removing heavy grease build up to washing fruit and vegetables - without the need for any chemicals or detergents.
The ROX machine comprises a central tank that takes ordinary, softened, tap water and with the addition of salt, uses electrolysis and a negatively charged terminal on one side (for Alkaline ‘E’ Water) and a positively charged terminal on the other side (for Acidic ‘E’ Water).
Alkaline ‘E’ Water
Alkaline water dissolves proteins and oils. It will, therefore, remove grease from cooking appliances, machinery, floors and walls and will eradicate many stains as well as ordinary dirt build up. PH Level 11.3
Acidic ‘E’ Water
Acidic water is effective in sanitising and in the removal and control of bacteria. In fact, it is a staggering 80 times more effective than chemical cleaning, yet leaves no residues – especially important in food. PH Level 3.

Used either individually or in tandem, the two types of water can cover practically every cleaning application across all industries.
The salt used during the electrolysis process almost completely dissipates by the time water is drawn off. Because of the small amount of salt remaining, the water is not recommended for consuming in large amounts. There are, however, certain rumours about extra health benefits including one that suggests drinking a small amount of the Acidic ‘E’ Water can be beneficial in cleansing the gut!
