The new speed ramp from Hazard Safety Products, incorporating surface mounted 'Dragons Teeth' positively enforces one-way traffic systems.
As a safety product they present a very strong deterrent to drivers that want to travel in the wrong direction to all but the most determined drivers and is suitable for all types of traffic including HGVs. Dragons Teeth have a profile of a speed ramp so most traffic will drive slowly and safely over the Dragon’s Teeth in the correct direction, helping police a one-way traffic system on your site.With virtually silent operation, the Dragon’s Teeth are powered by a pair of high tensile heavy-duty steel springs. A vehicles' wheels will lower the non-penetrative teeth as they drive over them and then quietly rise back upright to their original height and deterrent and have been laboratory tested for millions of operations.
Designed for extra safety, the profile of Dragon’s Teeth lowered is the same as a speed ramp. Bright yellow and black combination, the correct hazard warning colours, makes the product highly visible so that oncoming drivers can clearly see the Dragons Teeth in place and obey the one-way system.
The ramp also comes with splayed ends for extra safety. Dragons Teeth can be securely bolted to asphalt, concrete or block road surfaces. Installation is a simple through fixing and there is no need for marking out.
