As an independent we are able to offer a bespoke service to suit your needs in anodising and surface finishing. We can complete samples, small or large loads with realistic lead times to suit your business needs. We will talk with you until we understand what you need from us to build a trust based relationship. The areas we currently work within include: defence, utilities, transport, film, marine, automotive and education, from a sole trader to national groups.

One of our most popular services is our anodising plant, offering sulphuric acid anodising in a range of colours and conversion coatings including Surtec 650, Alochrom 1000 and Alochrom 1200. Having no minimum order quantity we are able to help our customers who require sample batches, small runs or unique custom components whilst still having capacity to deal with bulk orders.
Sulphuric acid anodising helps to prevent corrosion and with coloured finishes we can match the customers components to their brand signature. We use aluprint inks in our screen printing department producing extremely hardwearing yet attractive images that are then sealed into the surface of the anodising. We are happy to produce artwork for you, or use your trusted designs.
The Alochrom products are chromate conversion coatings, either clear in appearance (Alochrom 1000) or slightly yellowish (Alochrom 1200). Both offer low electrical resistance which we often use as a base layer before painting or epoxy finishes. Alochrom 1200 offers enhanced corrosion resistance to oxidization, water damage, weather and chemical corrosion meeting DEF STAN 03-18. It provides an excellent base for painting and we stock a wide range of colours plus epoxy finishes using less energy and creating less waste than conventional powder coatings. Our customers who work in defence and utilities find these finishes to be both extremely hard wearing as well as attractive. We have refurbished products that have been used in combat operations and the surface remains unblemished.
