Fife family business to exhibit at Design in Mental Health 2023

The Leven-based staff safety systems provider, Pinpoint Limited, will be exhibiting at Design in Mental Health Conference on the 7th and 8th of June this year.
Now in its 10th year, Design in Mental Health is the UK’s leading event focusing on the design, construction, refurbishment, and clinical provision of mental health environments.After the success of 2022, Pinpoint is returning to the Coventry event this year to display their revolutionary P2 System and join the conversation around the safe design of mental health facilities.

Guests at the event will have the chance to view and test Pinpoint’s upgraded staff safety system, P2 by Pinpoint. With enhanced functionality, increased durability, and a more contemporary design, P2 by Pinpoint offers maximum security to mental healthcare workers at risk of violence.
Studies repeatedly show high rates of violence toward mental health workers. A 2017 UNISON survey found two out of five NHS mental health workers were abused by patients each year. Six years on, little has improved, with the pandemic, staff shortages and long waiting lists exacerbating aggression toward staff.
Discreet, easy to use, and highly efficient, the P2 System allows at-risk workers to alert responders to the exact location of an alarm call within milliseconds, enabling quick intervention and de-escalation of a potentially aggressive incident.
