Daikin and Space Air appoint new Directors

Guildford based Daikin distributor, Space Airconditioning plc and its wholly owned subsidiary, Space Air Solutions Ltd., have appointed Mike Nankivell on the Board of Space Airconditioning plc and Mark Houghton at Space Air Solutions Ltd.
Neil Afram, founder and Managing Director of both companies explained,"Mike joined us almost 10 years ago and has been key to the success of our pro-active marketing department and new business development activities. He also represents Space Air, and the industry as a whole, on various advisory groups. As Chairman of the ACRIB F Gas Implementation Committee, he has played an important part in disseminating crucial industry legislation. My fellow Directors and I are delighted to acknowledge the benefits gained from Mikes' wide experience and tireless efforts on behalf of Space Air by welcoming to him to the Board of Directors."
Neil added;
"Mark Houghton first joined us in 1999 and was instrumental in helping to establish our successful subsidiary company, Space Air Solutions Ltd, which specialises in supplying the residential market with Daikin air source heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation and air purifiers. Mark left us for a while to pursue other interests but made a welcome return in 2008 as General Manager of Space Air Solutions. His working brief was to further develop sales of the Daikin "Altherma" Heat Pump range for our rapidly growing residential heating department. The figures speak for themselves and as a newly appointed Director, Mark will be in charge of an exciting expansion programme."
Neil concluded,
