Energy Ram Pumps

30 August 2023

“Energy Ram Pumps were first designed by Energy Chemical & Equipment Company Partner Brendan Clarke.

Originally painted in black and gold enamel the first 240mm Energy Ram Pump with Camel-Ball Valves was manufactured at the newly-built Energy premises and installed on site in 1997. Although Brendan died in 2006 he would be thrilled to know his original design is still popular with the United Kingdom’s waste-water treatment works (WwTW), gracing WwTW’s up and down the country.

Applications for the Energy Ram Pumps are manifold designed to be robust and reliable for difficult duties, for solids, thick, or caustic sludge, effluent and slurry in dairy farming, abattoirs, quarries and anywhere the pumping of waste is needed. Boasting fixed and variable flow rates, the Energy Ram Pumps work competitively on a wide range of sludge-transfer duties with a virtually unblockable valving system.”
