First Aid for Mental Health
12 October 2023
The 10th October was World Mental Health Awareness Day, 1 in 6 people will experience a mental illness some time in their lives, therefore mental health support in the workplace and at home is just as relevant as administering first aid in a medical emergency.
Identifying the signs early will lead to a speedy intervention and support which is essential to a person's wellbeing, and in turn will decrease staff absence and increase productivity in the workplace.
At Wiltshire First Aid, we offer nationally recognised accredited courses for those who want to gain greater awareness of mental health and also for those who have supervisory responsibilities and want the skills to support their employees with mental health related issues and guide them to the relevant professional support.
We run courses regularly at our training centre in Wiltshire or we can come to your place of work and deliver a group training session. Please contact us for more information.
