Lawsons appoints Chris Harrison as Group Finance Director

Chris Harrison has joined Lawsons Group as its new Group Finance Director succeeding Paul Rushent who retired earlier this year.
As the largest independent builders merchant in the South East comprising 35 branches and a dedicated steels production facility, Lawsons Group has grown significantly and profitably over the last five years both organically and via acquisitions to £175m in its last published results.Chris’ appointment to the Board continues the journey of a Group founded in 1921 which sees three generations of the Lawson family delivering family values and a professional service to other similar businesses in the UK construction sector.

Chris is a Fellow of the ICAEW as well as a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He joins Lawsons after 5 years with Inland Homes PLC and 8 years with Colas Rail UK.
