Lightning Safety Systems are delighted to announce that we have just completed a deal which has resulted in the company being owned by its staff!

Working with expert lawyer Christian Wilson, of Spencer West, we have achieved EOT status (Employee Ownership Trust) which means the Trust own the business due to now owning the shares previously held, but now transferred by the four directors of the company, to the Trust.
This move safeguards the future of the staff against any potential hostile sale that results in them losing their jobs, it opens up the opportunity for tax free profit share payments each year whilst consistently having influence over company policies, strategies and direction.
We fully anticipate all staff being motivated and fully engaged with this rare but rewarding opportunity.
All four directors are staying with the business and will strive to ensure, alongside with their colleagues, that this exciting initiative results in a huge success for everyone involved.
This EOT is a similar scheme to the “John Lewis” one that most people are familiar with.
