Labcold launch digital vaccine and sample transporter
10 February 2010
Labcold is pleased to introduce a new portable vaccine & sample carrier with accurate digital fingertip control that solves the problem of temperature management in transit.
Samples are often temperature sensitive, yet need to be collected in the field or transported away from controlled storage. Pharmaceuticals are carefully manufactured under temperature controlled conditions, kept in cooled warehouses, transported by refrigerated vehicles until being stored in pharmacy fridges, but again, what happens if they are to be used in the field?Labcold believe that their new carrier is the answer to problems caused by variable temperatures encountered in transit or in the field. With a temperature range from -5oC to +60oC and compatibility with either 240 AC or 12-volt DC electricity supplies, this simple, safe, easy to use portable carrier has a wide range of applications, all of which ensure one guaranteed result. Samples and pharmaceuticals are kept viable because they are not affected by damage caused by excessively high or low temperatures.
