Selected as winner of Best Physical Security Product of the year (2010) at the annual International Fire and Security Conference (IFSEC) was Frontier Pitts Terra Mount Blocker.
The IFSEC Security Industry Awards are organized by the British Security Industry Association and United Business Media. These awards promote the highest standards of excellence in security. Underscoring the importance of innovation and quality. The best new technology and products over the last year are honoured.The prestigious award was voted by a distinguished panel of nine key representatives of the security industry. Frontier Pitts was selected from six finalists.
The SMT Technology Terra Mount Blocker is the ONLY surface mounted blocker to be successfully impact tested to the BSi PAS 68 standard, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph in the aperture AND remain bolted in its original position during and after crash test impact.
The Terra Mount Blocker is part of the Anti Terra range which is the complete range of counter terror equipment. The Anti Terra range has been successfully impact tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80kmph).
The Frontier Pitts crash-rated Terra Mount Blocker is available in lengths up to 5000mm, with a lifted height of 810mm or 1100mm. The Terra Mount is mounted on the road, therefore no foundations are required.
3 models of Terra Blocker are manufactured by Frontier Pitts; the original Terra Blocker, the SMT Technology Terra Shallow Blocker, the Award Winning Terra Mount Blocker.
