An end to square plates in round holes!
Cambro’s new Versa dish caddies from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) are designed to hold square plates, as well as traditional round plates. They offer secure, adjustable high-capacity storage, keeping plates clean and chip-free.
Versa dish caddies are available in two sizes. The DCS950 holds five columns of 45-60 round plates up to 9.5 inch in diameter, or square plates up to 8 inch. This is 20 percent greater capacity than most comparable 9.5 inch dish caddies.
The DCS1125 caddy holds four columns of 45-60 round plates up to 11.25 inch in diameter, or square plates up to 9.5 inch. Both caddies have full-length side openings, which makes it easier to remove the plates, even the ones right at the bottom.
The new design uses durable polyethylene which is less bulky, giving plates the protection they need, while maximising plate storage capacity. Polyethylene does not rust, crack, dent or chip which makes for a long-lasting unit that is easy to keep hygienically clean.
The Versa dish caddies are fully mobile, with two 12.7cm front swivel casters with brakes and 25.4 cm non-marking, rear wheels. Moulded-in handles at both ends make for even easier manoeuvrability. The caddies have a sturdy, steel-plated rear axle which can carry a maximum load of 227kg.
Cambro Versa dish caddies are available from FEM in a choice of four colours - black, dark brown, slate blue, speckled grey and come with a vinyl cover for sanitary storage.
