The new Genvex GES Energy heat recovery ventilation appliance from Total Home Environment has surpassed the best practice performance targets of the Energy Saving Trust
The new Genvex GES Energy heat recovery ventilation appliance from Total Home Environment has surpassed the best practice performance targets set by the Energy Saving Trust as part of Appendix Q in SAP calculations. The GES Energy heat recovery ventilation appliance is a compact appliance designed to ventilate domestic properties up to 200m². It is equipped with a counter-flow heat exchanger with a highly efficient approved recovery rate of 91%, making it ideal for installations where low energy consumption and high temperature efficiency are required.
Heat recovery ventilation is now the accepted form of mechanical ventilation required to not only meet building regulations, but to also contribute to achieving the current level of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
None of the heat that has been carefully isolated within the house is wasted by using trickle vents and extractor fans because fresh air is brought in from outside and gently heated by the waste heat from the stale air being taken out.
Featured with the appliance and from the designers of Bang & Olufsen, the stylish, user-friendly controller has an LCD screen to give total control of the temperature, fan speed and operation throughout the day, using a ten-stage timer. The appliance monitors ingoing and outgoing air so when it’s hot and heat recovery is not required, the fully integrated summer bypass automatically closes, ensuring fresh comfort cooling of the home.
For total peace of mind, an information screen will display all of the current operating temperatures. As one of the most respected and established ventilation manufacturers in Europe, the Genvex GES Energy incorporates intelligent engineering to meet the high level of service offered by Total Home Environment.
With over ten years experience in heat recovery ventilation technology, Total Home Environment provides an extensive installation service and offers system recommendations based on room-by-room heat-loss calculations to guarantee optimum results are achieved.
