Welcome to the first edition of our newsletter where we keep in touch with projects and clients, looking at news and innovations within the company and the industry as a whole.
Constructive-it Ltd was formed 8 years ago now and our name comes about from the founders of the company spending many years within the construction and refurbishment industries. During this time the role of electrical contractor grew to encompass the installation of data and telecoms cabling.
We have invested and developed the company coupled to the growth in requirements for structured cabling systems and with that investment in training, the data-cabling element of the business now equates to some 60% of our turnover.
Constructive-it Ltd carry out projects in the following sectors
Data centre and Comms room design and installation
Structured cabling
Fibre optic termination and testing
Electrical installations
Industrial lighting and power
Commercial refurbishments
Lighting design and installation is vital for any business whether for an industrial environment, a call centre/office – the spatial and operating criteria determine the lighting required. Many of our projects encompass a variety of the facets that we have mentioned above and it is here where we feel that Constructive-it can offer added value. It is understanding the clients requirements and transferring that understanding to the project.

Recent projects:
UCB Pharma – a pharmaceutical company based in Slough heavily reliant on their communications between head office and other sites in the UK and Europe.
In conjunction with Atkins Telecom consultancy we were asked to engage with the client to design and implement the new layout of the data centre.
During programmed shut downs we carried out the de-commission and then re-instatment of the core fibre racks and also the horizontal copper installation, together with new electrical supplies for the cabinets and racks.
