New Validator Tester designed for Ethernet systems

Available now from Emitex is the new range of JDSU Validator Testers specifically designed for the installation and maintenance of Ethernet systems.
Most electrical contractors recognise the need for the safe and reliable speed of dataflow in Ethernet networks. The new range ensures the efficiency of these systems by verifying that Ethernet cables are running up to one gigabit in speed capacity, as per TIA 568/570 standards for CAT5E and CAT6.
JDSU’s Validator NT950 is an entry level system verifier that uses actual packets of DATA transmitted across the network at up to one gigabit speed to confirm the system will work as desired rather than using estimated analogue performance charts to “certify” the system. The Validator NT955 adds an active system maintenance component to the package. Both units incorporate patented Plan-Um™ software which allows the installer to plan the network, automatically create wiring schedules, record and print the results and finally archive the results for later retrieval.
Both products join Emitex’s range of network systems and solutions, which include cabling, patch panels, cabinets and accessories, power supplies and tools.
