13 August 2010
Leeds marketing and design agency Outsmart has completed work on the branding and website for Purple Vouchers, a new business venture based in Doncaster.
'It’s very much about local businesses and consumers.’ comments Outsmart’s Managing Director Paul Harker. ‘By focusing on the local community and seeking to invigorate commerce in the Doncaster area, the team at Purple Vouchers are providing all types of businesses with a vehicle to promote their business is a very cost-effective way.’Purple Voucher’s Sales Director Jackie Hamilton explains ‘We’re planning to put our new voucher booklet in the hands of 20,000 Doncaster consumers to help get the economy moving again. We’re committed to Doncaster, it’s businesses and it’s people. We’re proud of the city, and want to do something that consumers will love and see businesses benefit as a result.
As well as a voucher book with a 20,000 print run, the business is also online at www.purplevouchers.co.uk and downloadable vouchers will be available as the business takes off in September. The website, designed by Outsmart and built by Montrose River, is intended to become a hub of marketing activity for the city of Doncaster. Hamilton comments ‘People will be able to go online, join our mailing list and download vouchers for immediate use. If you’re planning a night out, going out for a meal, thinking about doing some work on your house, need your car looking at, or are planning a shopping trip, you’ll want to visit the website first to see where to go and how much money you can save.’
The Purple Vouchers branding is bright, colourful and very positive. Harker comments ‘The Purple Vouchers position is ‘love shopping, love saving’ and features a love heart illustration full of shopping imagery. It’s been great fun to work on, and with the website, the voucher booklet, media packs, email communications and a whole range of marketing collateral, there’s been plenty to do.’
‘Paul really has given us the brand we wanted.’ Hamilton continues ‘It’s very contemporary, very clear and customer-focused, and although we are a small business at the moment, we are very ambitious and we are delighted that this branding is strong enough to roll out on a national level.’
Purple Vouchers is open for business, and aiming to publish their first voucher booklet in the Autumn.
