Plasson celebrates 20 years in UK

July this year sees the 20th anniversary of Plasson UK, the British subsidiary of Plasson Group, one of the world leaders in the manufacture of plastic pipe fittings, itself established for over 47 years.
Plasson UK moved to its present premises 2 years ago, nearly tripling its warehouse and office space to some 61,000sq.ft in Burgess Hill. Operated by Miron Givon, General Manager since its inception, Plasson UK has enjoyed organic growth in the UK focusing on product development, quality and longevity of its products.Over the years, the company has expanded its range with now over 2100 different items and supplies its fittings to the water, building, plumbing, construction, and agricultural industries as well as the builders’ and plumbers’ merchants.

With WRAS certification on its products, Plasson UK supplies many of the water utility companies and their appointed contractors and logistics providers and also supplies the builders’ and plumbers’ merchants with its plastic compression and electro-fusion fittings for water distribution, gas distribution, foul water mains, landfill, geo-thermal and telecoms applications.
Plasson has the most comprehensive range of water mains fittings in the UK. The company has recently introduced the PlassOne push fit products, and has a wide range of ancillary products including stop tap chambers, manifolds, and meter boxes. It has also added a range of fittings specifically designed for the growing geo-thermal market.

Plasson has one of the widest range of pipe fittings in the world now boasting some 2100 products with sizes up to 710mm diameter and for pressures up to 18 bar accepting nearly all existing pipe types from lead and copper to galvanised and alkathene. And because of Plasson’s long establishment, it can claim a 45 year in-ground proven track record for its products.
