More recently, Mapei’s commitment has been channelled into research and development of products with low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) which improve the quality in homes and commercial buildings. Mapei’s Ultraplan ECO fits perfectly into the ever increasing portfolio of low TVOC products that are less harmful to installers and end-users alike. Ultraplan ECO is a water-mixed self-levelling compound that is ultra-fast hardening and very low TVOC. It is designed for the levelling of differences in thickness from 1-10mm on new or existing substrates. Internally it can be used over concrete slabs, cement, anhydrite, terrazzo, ceramic, under-floor heating and natural stone, where an excellent resistance to loads and traffic is required.
