Brandboost raises its' online video profile
21 March 2011
The Brandboost team is launching a campaign for clients to extend their use of online video in the web and social media environments.
Figures for 2010 by royal.pingdom.com state that 2 billion videos are watched daily on YouTube and over 2 billion per month on Facebook. The Nielsen Company estimates that Internet users in the USA spent 45% more time viewing online video in January 2011 that they did over the same period in 2010. Online video is an area of exceptional growth.A division of online communication and marketing specialists MPS & BBI International, Brandboost has covered a wide range of topics through online videos. They have showcased products from packaging machinery to fire safety equipment and plan to further develop this area of their operations.
Andrew Libra, Managing Director of MPS & BBI International, comments: “Videos do not require big production budgets to have exceptional impact. Studies have shown that, compared to broadcast TV, online video offers very high levels of attention and engagement. Online videos can also create a strong incentive to click through on website links, which creates useful statistics on visitor interests which can be monitored, measured and analysed.”
Video is also a strong feature of the social media packages recently introduced by Brandboost and named after the five levels of the earth’s atmosphere from Troposphere up to Exosphere on the edge of outer space. Starting from only £6,000 for a 12-month schedule of projects, they incorporate both primary and secondary activities aimed at all main social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Flickr.
All packages include uploading, tagging and describing videos for YouTube, while the three most wide-ranging packages include annual allocations of simple video production. The full range of Brandboost’s social media marketing packages, itemised activities and prices can be viewed via our website.
