KEVIN.MURPHY POWDER.PUFF is a weightless volumising powder, which uses metamorphosis technology to create casual volume and ‘bedroom-messy’ hair!
Packed with extracts of French seaweed, apples, plums, cranberries and citrus, the powder ‘morphs’ into a paste that becomes invisible while providing day-long style support and hold. Sprinkle on to damp or dry hair at the roots, massage in and watch hair grow – ideal for creating volume and texture.International session stylist Kevin Murphy says the inspiration for POWDER.PUFF came while working with The Wig Master at the Australian Ballet. He explains: “I’ve been fortunate enough to work with him on special projects and learnt an awful lot from him.
When I asked him about how to stop hair from going flat, he told me to go back in history to the time of Marie Antoinette, when they didn’t have the products we have now, but they sure had volume! I looked at the powdered wigs of the 18th century and realised powder was the key.
I wanted the performance of a powder but I didn’t want to see it and then I stumbled across the technology that allowed the powder to morph into a paste and become invisible.”
