M+P revise VibControl with version 2.11 launch
12 May 2011
M+P International have announced a revision of their vibration control software, VibControl, with the release of version 2.11 with many improvements and new features.
VibControl v2.11 enhancements and new features include;Online Time Data Display
In sine and random test modes you can choose between on-line time data display and the normal frequency display for any input channel replacing external oscilloscope monitoring. Faster display updates also enhance this new feature.
Load and Run tests from VibEdit application
The separate application architecture in VibControl provides excellent user flexibility when wanting to multi-task between, for example, running a test while editing a new test or reporting on a previous run. For users who prefer an integrated single task approach the new auto-load and run toolbar button gives the option to directly execute the current test setup and hence further simplifies operation.
Classical Shock with variable Pre-Pulse and Post-Pulse
Previously available in the VibShockPulse utility the user defined pre and post compensation pulse selections are now integrated into the setup page within VibEdit. Square and sine with/without decay options together with our unique tolerance limit values ensure optimum use of your shaker capability within velocity and displacement constraints.
Other new features include:
- Support of the Windows 7 operating system
- Enhanced multi-chart axis setup features for faster on-line chart setup
- Save and auto-load on-line display layouts for every different test is now available to optimise switching between tests.
- New TE display in SRS mode provides information about the effective shock duration to the latest MILSTD 810G requirements
- Sweep rate (eg oct/min) entry for mixed mode tone definition simplifies setup
- Notching now available in all mixed control modes (SoR / RoR / SoRoR)
- Notching now includes RSS Vector & Summed force functions required for satellite testing with notching data table import across many channels
- Simplified data entry for cross over frequency calculations in sine sweep test
*Active VCPlus customers will receive VibControl revised version 2.11 via CD in due course.
