Meiko's Pass-Through Warewashers Just Keep Getting Better
18 May 2011
Continuously improving, Meiko’s popular DV 125.2 pass-through warewasher is now available with two optional features that make operator handling easier and help reduce detergent and rinse aid consumption.
Built for high capacity washware cleaning, this model can be found back of house in bakeries and food production plants, as well as universities, large schools and hotels. The first new addition is the automatic hood mechanism – which, at the press of a button closes the machine’s hood at the start of the wash cycle, and releases the hood once the programme is finished.
The second new option is the GiO module, a totally versatile reverse osmosis system for optimum water treatment. The streamlined modular GiO RO module can situated separate from the machine but is fully integrated in the dishwasher controls.
Using the reverse osmosis unit negates the need for water softening apparatus and has the capacity to work with incoming water at a hardness level up to 314ppm. Reverse osmosis produces almost pure (98%) filtered water by directing the incoming untreated water under high pressure towards a membrane whereupon almost all the unnecessary particles are retained. Crucially, operating with reverse osmosis water reduces machine downtime, and reduces detergent and rinse aid consumption.
These truly dynamic, high performance warewashers offer 555mm passing height x 660mm wide load capacity, to efficiently handle transport baskets, dishware, GN containers, pots, pans, cutlery and even glassware. A powerful pump together with rotating stainless steel washing and rinsing systems with additional jets above and below delivers ultra efficient cleaning.
Other features on this higher and wider professional warewashing machine includes: the EWS (energy and water system) technology designed to deliver unheard of levels of purity whilst using minimal fresh water and energy; MIKE 2 electronic control with infrared interface; a self-clean programme; and the Aqua stop system, a leading water control for high operational safety.
