Science World to show latest Compact Autoclaves from Priorclave are small by design but big on features

The latest models from the Compact range of Priorclave autoclaves will be on show at the forthcoming Science World 2011 show taking place at the Magna Science Centre in Rotherham on the 26th May.
Centrepiece will be the top-loading Compact 60, a 60 litre capacity autoclave where the word simplicity cannot be underestimated. This caster mounted autoclave is easy to position and easy to install just by plugging into a 13A socket. Among its many features is the Priorclave proven Tactrol control system. The microprocessor control steps the operator through simple set-up procedures for adjusting temperature (up to 138ºC) and cycle times and has the availability to provide constant readout of cycle status.As with all Priorclave autoclaves the Compact 60L, in addition to efficient steam sterilisation, is high on safety features including a quick-seal single action door, closure, the pressurised door system incorporates a protective heat cover, thermal cooling lock, pressure lock plus special door gate mechanism which cracks the gasket seal allowing any residual pressure to safely escape.
As standard the C60L is supplied with force air cooling however it is available with vacuum air removal and drying to suit specific needs and is supplied with two stainless steel mesh baskets.
This compact autoclave has already found a home within many laboratory applications including food, drink, dairy, pharmaceutical, agricultural, education, healthcare and research establishments. A significant advance is the BioCote anti-bacterial, epoxy finish which protects against cross-infection and is highly effective against the growth of all bacteria and fungi including MRSA.
