6m high netted cricket ball stop fencing with security fencing and retractable netting
The installation of a 6m high netted ball stop fence between cricket ground boundary and bowls club was installed to stop stray cricket balls hitting bowls members - as was the case last summer.A pre-requisite was that the bottom of the fencing had to be security proof due to the potential of vandalism but the netting had to be demountable on a pulley system so nets could be removed during closed season.
