Following a total process mixing solution for Tanfield Foods, provided by Advanced Engineering in 2009, the growing food processing company has placed a repeat order with the Lancashire Mixer specialists, to further their expansion plans.
County Durhams' Tanfield Foods, is a rapidly growing food processor, supplying to catering organisations and major retailers, as well as direct to the consumer. Products range from soups complete meals, including its latest 'Look What We Found' range. Tanfield also provide meals for special dietary needs such as gluten free recipes.The Advanced Engineering mixers are employed principally on the soups and sauces production lines. Both have been supplied with two mixing heads to allow for different textures to be created, such as smooth sauces and chunky pea and ham soup.
The mixers are mounted on stainless steel trolleys, each with an integral control panel. This facilitates movement between the different cooking kettles and mixer operation.
The in-line mixers are direct drive units powered by 7.5kW AC motors. Each mixer is supplied with two types of rotor stator combinations to provide a wide variety of required textures to the many products supplied.
Tanfield Foods' Engineering Manager, David Dunn;
“The Advanced Engineering mixers are an alternative to those supplied by a previous supplier. We are obviously pleased with both the performance of the mixers and the service provided by the company, because we have just placed a second order with AE Mixers for similar machines.”
