Environ Wins Prestigious Award for Body Profile Gel

Intensive Body Profile Toning Gel from vitamin skincare specialist Environ, was awarded a special accolade from Proudly South Africa at the Marie Claire South Africa Prix d’Excellence De La Beauté 2008 awards, held in Johannesburg on 18 March
The stylish annual awards ceremony – in celebration of the world’s best innovative and revolutionary skincare and makeup products – was judged by a team of leading South African beauty editors. From 132 international entrants, two overall winners were announced and only seven citations were given.
Environ’s Body Profile, one of the seven, received a unique Marie Claire Prix d’Excellence award sponsored by Proudly South African, as the outstanding locally manufactured product. The award was presented to Environ CEO, Val Carstens, who also accepted a year’s subscription to the Proudly South African organisation, which was set up to raise awareness and quality of South African products and services.
Body Profile Gel is especially formulated to smoothen, tighten and condition the whole body. This new formula features special active ingredients, which assist in the reduction of the “orange peel effect” often found on the thighs, upper arms and stomach. It helps to remodel the skin while firming and leaving it healthier and smoother.
Environ has previously won the Marie Claire South Africa Prix d’Excellence’s top accolade in 2003 for its innovative Cosmetic Roll-CIT tool, and an award for its Ionzyme C-Quence Gel in 1998.
