FLOAT-ON

FLOAT-ON

Used by the largest glass processors and material handling companies in the world. Their design ensures smooth movement and easy directional change of materials with delicate or polished surfaces. Available in two different sizes, 35mm & 50mm diameter with the option of two ball materials:

Red Polyurethane - a hard wearing option for heavier loads and more arduous conditions. Suitable for hygienic applications.

Black Rubber - suitable for most other applications.

Alwayse FLOAT-ON castors have been specifically developed for use in wet and dry conditions. Available in; Bright Zinc Plate (BZP) which is suitable for most applications, and Stainless Steel INOX (S/S) for use in the most arduous of conditions. Stainless Steel assemblies have a black acetal socket as standard. FLOAT-ON castors are also ideal for the easy handling of other flat sheet materials such as; granite, wood, plastic, card, etc.

Alwayse FLOAT-ON castors are available as:
Complete Assembly (consisting of Stem, Circlip, Socket, Washer and Ball)
Stem, Circlip, Washer & Ball
Balls Only

Note: please specify whether you require right hand R/H or left hand L/H assemblies.

A simple and inexpensive range featuring a large ball exposure. Ideal for lighter loads and where there is a cost consideration.
Euro Units

Euro Units

Featuring a main bearing cup of special toughened steel with a dirt exit hole and a woollen felt seal. Maximum dynamic loading from 10 − 610kg. Available with a variety of fixing clips plus an option with an integral clip.

Suitable for conditions -30o C to +70o C under continuous loading or +100o C with intermittent loading. Special seals may be required in extreme conditions. In clean environments and without seal +200o C is possible. Contact our experts for advice.

Manufactured from one piece of solid steel body with a seal and dirt exit hole for maximum efficiency and smooth running. Suitable for use in air cargo decks. Dynamic loadings of up to 4000kg. Air Cargo Decks and other heavy load applications. A range of fixing clips are available.

Hi-Tech, Double Seal Units

The first ball transfer unit to feature double sealing to exclude debris from the bearings. Body manufactured from Glass Reinforced Nylon with a hardened main bearing track. High resistance to organic solvents, petrol and oil. Units operate in any orientation with no loss of performance.

With low capital costs and virtually maintenance free, Gravity Rollers offer a cost effective alternative for hundreds of applications including the movement of materials, goods or packages.

We manufacture, as standard, rollers from 25mm to 89mm diameter in a variety of lengths and load capacities from 10kg to 900kg.

Our standard Air Cargo handling rollers are found in Ground Support Equipment around the globe.

Rollers can be produced from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium or plastics. They can be finished: self colour, bright zinc plated (BZP) or with a variety of coverings such as Neoprene Rubber or Polyurethane.
