Fibreoptic Instruments- Broadband ASE Sources

Fibotec's fibreoptic broadband sources use the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) of optically pumped rare-earth doped core optical fibres to generate broadband output from only a few nm to the entire emission spectra of the dopant.
 
Fibreoptic ASE sources are typically higher power than fibre-coupled broadband semiconductor sources with lower Relative Intensity Noise (RIN) and strong incoherence—making them the ideal source for test and measurement applications.
 
FiboLUX ASE sources offer exceptional Power Density in terms on dBm per nm, typically -12dBm/nm with higher figures available, gain-flattened designs are also available.
 
Standard products include C-, L- and C+L-Band Erbium doped sources.  FiboTEC can also supply systems using alternate doped fibres.
 
FiboLUX instruments are available in Benchtop format with integrated power suppliers and digital display and as OEM modules for integration into the customer’s system.
