I am the First Officer on board M.Y. Lady Christine 4, a 225-foot private superyacht launched in July 2010.Due to the size of the vessel and our operational requirements we require a reliable, proven crew radio system to use on board. Having already worked with Apex for a number of years previously on other vessels, we decided to use them as our preferred supplier for this project.Living and working at sea, we rely on our communications equipment not only for security and routine operational duties, but also for use during emergency training and response. As such it is crucial that our supplier is competent, knowledgeable, responsive and capable of providing timely assistance and support on a worldwide basis.Apex has consistently proven themselves to be capable of fulfilling these criteria time and time again.Based primarily on the French Riviera, we have the choice of other suppliers throughoutEurope. Apex has consistently proven to be the most cost-effective option for our needs, even taking into international exchange rates and shipping costs. We will continue to work with Apex, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others.

Set in the heart of Aberdeen – the oil capital of Europe- The Hilton Garden Inn Aberdeen City Centre is a new-build 100 bedroom hotel which is part of the Hilton Family of Hotels.As with any business, communication plays a vital role with our day to day operations.Apex Radio Systems Ltd provided many options to meet our requirements, all of which were at lower cost than any of their competitors, and in the case of the model we chose to implement on site, they were a huge 50% more cost effective than other companies approached.With quality service and quality products I would recommend Apex Radios to any business looking to improve their communication needs.

Harrogate has operated a CCTV scheme between shops, licensed premises and the CCTV Control room based in the town for over ten years. This was an analogue network that was installed by another radio provider at the outset of the scheme and owned by Harrogate Borough Council. The Council directly hired the radio handsets to scheme members as a revenue income.Harrogate District also includes the towns of Ripon and Knaresborough. Both had a local Radiolink network organised by the police, but even though CCTV cameras were being monitored in both locations, CCTV operatorswere not part of the Radiolink owing to the distances involved.Apex Radio Systems won the contract to replace the analogue network in Harrogate with a digital one, and to find a solution to the problem of getting Radiolink messages from both Ripon and Knaresborough back to CCTV control in Harrogate. After investigation and trial, an infrastructure using Harrogate Borough Council’s own intranet system to relay radio messages was installed by Apex, which was a “no cost” solution that has proved very effective. The outcome is a digital network covering Harrogate Town that has prompted positive feedback from many users of improved transmission clarity and reception, including CCTV operators themselves. That users in Ripon and Karesborough can now talk to CCTV operators in Harrogate at all times of day or nigh has proven a more attractive product for business resulting in an increased membership in both towns; this wouldn’t have been possible without going digital.Throughout I have found Apex easy to deal with and from the outset they had a good appreciation of what Harrogate Council required, and the possible options available to meet our needs. Their costed proposals were clearly presented and of the three tenders we received, met our requirements at the most attractive price. Work was always carried out on time, and I was particularly impressed that on the day of Harrogate digital “go-live”, their technicians arrived from Newcastle despite heavy overnight snowfalls, an indication of their commitment to getting our scheme activated on schedule.Apex offered an attractive revenue return to Harrogate Council per radio handset taken up by scheme members, and have taken over all aspects of member invoicing, which has lifted a burden from our finance department. Apex clearly has an organised administration department, as revenue payments to us are being made promptly without problem and orders for new members radios are handled quickly and efficiently using overnight couriers.To date our experience with Apex Radio Systems has been only positive. Their solution to our requirement for a digital network covering the district has fully achieved that goal and their service has been both professional and courteous at all levels. Despite being a large national radio provider, the service we continue to receive feels personal, and I feel confident of prompt attention should any issues ever arise.

I used Apex Radio Systems to supply me with over 200 radios, on 4 channels, with repeater systems for each channel. They also supplied headsets for our pit crews and supervisors. This was at short notice…The quality of the equipment, delivery and set up was excellent and I am happy to recommend this company to anyone requiring hand held radios for their future events.

As the Business Improvement District Manager in the busy Erdington Town Centre I believe it is vital to ensure that all the businesses and local authorities are able to communicate effectively to reduce crime and disorder.When another local BID recommended Apex Radio Systems had successfully upgraded their radio communication system I invited Apex to discuss our needs with a view to upgrade and was immediately impressed with their professionalism and knowledge to resolve all of our radio communication issues.Before Apex installed our new Digital Shopwatch system we were using Analogue radios which struggled to reach many of the 200 businesses with the district. These coverage issues prevented the growth of the radio link throughout the BID area.The Digital Radio System that Apex installed solved this problem, allowing coverage in the far ends of the high street as well as backrooms which previously had been complete blind spots.With the success of the upgrade it has been necessary to request additional radios from Apex. The ongoing support has been excellent with an efficient turnaround of new equipment and effective customer service.

The International Centre for Life opened in 2000. Based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, almost 600 people from 35 countries work here: researchers, doctors and nurses work alongside people in the fields of education, public engagement and business. At the heart of the science village is the Life Science Centre, which attracts around 250,000 visitors annually. Radio communication throughout the site is vital to our business ensuring all departments are able to remain in constant contact. We have been more than happy with the service provided by Apex since our install in April 2014. They are always at the end of a phone or email to answer any questions and offer help and advice. The install was carried out efficiently and to schedule. Would recommend as they are a local company who go out of their way to help and assist.

As the Chairman of BARRY PACT I work in conjunction with Apex Radio Systems and the retail community trying to constantly prevent store theft and tackle anti-social behaviour within the town of Barry.Apex Radio Systems set up in 2004 a very successful Shopwatch scheme which allowed all local business’s the opportunity of constant two-way radio communication with one another using Handportable Security Radios that Apex supply. Since Apex introduced the scheme we have noticed significant improvements in terms of the security of the town for which we hold Apex in extreme high regard. As well as being the Chairman of BARRY PACT I also work for TESCO as a Security Manager (store 2081). This store also uses one of the Apex Radio Systems and proves to be beneficial on a daily basis to the Tesco store, promoting piece of mind and improving security to both staff and customers alike.Through working with Apex At BARRY PACT I have been extremely impressed with both their quality of service as an organisation and their professionalism afforded to me as a customer.
