Tamperproof Hose Union Bib Tap with Shelf

Arrow Valves Ltd have launched a 900 mm high permanent standpipe with hose union tap for use in areas where a facility for filling vessels is required and there is no wall to attach to.

Model SPWP incorporates a Double Check Valve for Fluid Category 3 applications e.g. filling buckets (campsites), filling watering cans (cemetaries), private, residential and public gardens and garden centres.

The standpipe can be bolted to a concrete floor or mounted on the optional ‘pile’.  The galvanised pile can be buried in soft ground or in an area to be subsequently concreted.  For aesthetic  reasons the design allows the mating flanges to be located beneath the soil surface.

The  bucket shelf retracts into the top cap when closed minimising risk of injury and making it ideal for public premises such as schools and car parks.

The Standpipe has 2 operating positions.  The mid-position exposes the tap whilst leaving the hose connection concealed, preventing fitting of a hose during hosepipe bans.  The lower position provides the integral bucket shelf.  The hose may be left attached in all positions and the Standpipe secured using the optional padlock.
