London Crossrail Project − ExpandaStore Storage Unit
“Action Handling guarantee safety & security with their Storage Equipment” All our storage products are designed to comply with Health & Safety standard regulations
Having supplied a vast amount of equipment across different stages of the £multi-billion London Crossrail project, Action Handling continue to deliver results. Early in 2012, a team of engineering contractors mentioned a lack of efficient storage facilities to securely store tools and other equipment during the day & overnight. Subsequently, the call was made to Action Handling to discuss the most suitable solution.Given that Crossrail has literally 1000’s of construction workers engaged in the project, a variety of safe and secure storage units were necessary to satisfy the specification. Following an in-depth consultation, a bulk order was confirmed to include a large quantity of our ExpandaStore Storage Units which offer a very flexible design. They can be configured to form different sizes to be re-used as per the current requirement.
This unique portable building is ideal for restricted access, remote areas and congested site situations. Supplied with either galvanised or powder coated green finish. The units are extended in width or length by adding further modules; there is no maximum size for construction. The components are light enough to be man handled and small enough to fit through a small passageway. All parts can be ordered separately so damaged components are replaceable.
