VS Technology Corp., - VST - is a Japanese hi-tech company established in 1997. It specializes in design, development and manufacture of products for machine vision markets. This includes a wide range of high performance optical components for use in demanding applications such as quality testing, alignment / measurement and OCR.

As well as popular types of lenses, such those for CCTV and Factory Automation, VST offers more complex designs optimized for special applications involving macro, low distortion, vibration resistance, very high resolution and different telecentric requirements. Lenses for work in UV and NIR regions of the EM spectrum are also available.

Most lenses are designed for C-mount cameras but some F-mount and S-mount models are also offered.

VST stands apart from other lens suppliers in that it is prepared to customize existing designs to meet customers’ particular requirements − even for low volumes − or to develop new designs if the product volume justifies the additional cost and effort.
