Phil Kirby plans retirement
Phil Kirby, Area Sales Manager with UK catering equipment manufacturer, Victor Manufacturing is due to retire this summer after successfully turning his customers dreams into catering equipment reality for the last 20 years. With responsibility for the South West region Phil has become the popular face of the company.
Having worked in the catering industry since 1967, Phil lists the attributes for a successful career in sales as being, ‘good communicator, good listener, the ability to convert customers’ ideas into reality, honesty with customers and colleagues and, importantly, a good sense of humour’.With his departure, an obvious vacancy has opened up at Victor for a candidate to try and fill Phil’s rather large shoes. The company is looking for a proactive individual, preferably with experience in catering equipment sales, good communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to new and existing customers.
Commented Andrew Gibson, Sales Director with Victor, “With his vast experience of the catering equipment industry and knowledge of our products it will be difficult to replace Phil who has professionally sold and promoted our company for many years, however his replacement will adopt a loyal customer base that requires a high level of service and expertise. Ideally his replacement will be based in the south west sales region and be able to consult with prospective clients at all levels.”
Interested parties should email Victor Manufacturing direct, with their CV with a brief covering letter to email@victormanufacturing.co.uk
