Veterinary Uniforms

01 July 2013 | Grahame Gardner Ltd

Myerscough College uses Grahame Gardner.

Myerscough College near Preston, Lancashire have once again signed up with Grahame Gardner Ltd to supply all uniforms for their new students arriving in September.

This is the fourth year that Myerscough have used Grahame Gardner and, to show their support to the college, Grahame Gardner have just donated a prize for the student who will scoop the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (September Day Release cohort) ‘Student of the Year’ award at the end of Summer.

Myerscough College has around 500 veterinary nursing students at any given time across a wide range of courses, including both further and higher education veterinary nursing courses. New students hit the ground running with their first veterinary practice placements starting as little as two weeks from the start of term, so it is important that they look the part. Michaela Ann Brickles, Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at Myerscough College comments:-

“The start of term is very intensive with only 2 weeks of tuition before some of the students are out undertaking their first veterinary practice placement. This is great for consolidating their learning, but it is essential that they are equipped for work in the practice with their new uniform. Grahame Gardner has always worked hard to ensure that we have garments ready for the first placements, and as the process is undertaken so smoothly it is one less thing for Course Tutors to worry about.”

Myerscough students wear traditional student veterinary nurse uniforms, with female students in bottle green trousers with green pin stripe tunics and male students in navy trousers and top.

Grahame Gardner offer a dedicated service specifically for Universities and Colleges, where all students are measured on site and uniforms are despatched with corresponding name tags. This approach eliminates unnecessary complications with uniform distribution as it simplifies the process.
