David Bailey fits out Maternity Ward where Prince George was born

It’s not every day you get to make a Royal connection, but the birth of Prince George provided just that opportunity for David Bailey Furniture Systems.

In June this year, David Bailey supplied and installed fitted storage units and worktops in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where just weeks later the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the future King of England.

Trevor Gillman, Managing Director for David Bailey Furniture System, said: “The Lindo Wing is a luxurious maternity ward, which has witnessed a number of Royal births, so we were delighted to be asked by the Trust to manufacture and install fitted furniture in preparation for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new arrival.”

Previously in 2011, David Bailey manufactured and installed fitted hospital furniture to the value of £96,000 for the refurbishment of St Mary’s Hospital’s entire maternity ward.
