Astec Conveyors appoint Paul Fox as new Sales Manager

Astec Conveyors Limited announce the appointment of Paul Fox as Sales Manager to join the rapidly expanding company providing integrated materials handling solutions to industries throughout the UK.

With over 30 years experience of sales engineering with in the materials handling industry, Paul has been involved in numerous projects across various industrial sectors including food processing and packaging, manufacturing, automation and logistics. This has brought him into direct contact and dealings with both end users and OEM’s.

Sales director Roger Pendleton reported, “Astec Conveyors has a well established customer base and is continuing to experience controlled growth. As a result, the company has recently invested in a new purpose built factory unit adjacent to the existing offices and manufacturing facilities. The new unit will be used for assembly, testing and demonstration of project systems before delivery to site.

Paul will focus on developing new business with the introduction of Astec’s range of products and also identify bespoke handling applications. He will work closely with our experienced Proposals and Design team, as well as adding valuable support in servicing Astec Conveyors existing customer base.”

Previously, palletising of cases was carried out manually at the end of each production line, and then transferred by pallet truck some 50 metres through a busy operational area to the warehouse.
