30th Anniversary − Applications Engineering Ltd

Applications Engineering Ltd are proud to report that we have just celebrated our 30th anniversary − supplying, amongst other things, pressure & vacuum, level, temperature and flow switches and transducers to businesses from all around the globe.

During this time, significant milestones have happened; such as achieving ISO 9001 accreditation in 2003, as well as securing many new products and principals and also moving to larger Uckfield premises on Bellbrook Industrial Estate within Wealden − East Sussex’s, premier business park.

Since 1983, one thing remains true today, just as it did when the company commenced trading − our staff, suppliers and most importantly, our customers are the lifeblood of our business. Without one of these vital commodities, we don’t exist! That’s why we do all we can to ensure we have a stable workforce − the last change was more than 6 years ago when Wayne Bristow joined us in our warehousing department, and the longest serving member, James Goddard (Managing Director), is now in his third decade with AEL.

We also will only purchase from reputable organisations, and have now a host of household names to share expertise, first class service and a vast range of products. Our most recent partnership is with Grundfos Direct Sensors.

We are proud to supply customers from all corners of industry, spanning major OEM’s to one man in a shed working from home on the “next big thing”, and we are thrilled to announce that we recently took on-board our 4600th customer.

We look forward to the next decade and being able to boast our 40th anniversary, building on the superb platform that has been enthusiastically built by our dedicated workforce and we would therefore like to thank everyone who has had a part to play in our success.
