Vacuum Trap Filter Elements custom designed for demanding processes

Customized filter elements that can be designed to trap specific gases and particulates and be combined to meet demanding process requirements, using their complete line of vacuum inlet and exhaust traps, are being introduced by MV Products.

MV Custom Filter Elements can be fabricated using specific materials to absorb gases such as arsine, boron trifluoride, boron trichloride, and hydrochloric acid, or trap particulates down to 0.1 μm.

Utilizing 2-3/4” dia. x 4-1/2” or 9-1/2” H filter element shells that fit their standard vacuum inlet and exhaust traps, they can be used in any combination.

MV Custom Filter Elements feature materials such as stainless steel- and copper gauze, molecular sieve to trap gases and vapours, activated charcoal for organic vapoUrs, activated alumina to neutralize acids and absorb oils, Sodasorb® for acetic acids, pleated polypropylene 2, 5, and 20 μm, and polyester to operate up to 165°C, depending upon pressure.
