Distributor’s visit to Yorkshire helps boost trade links with France

The staff at Pulsar Instruments welcomed Alain Gourier, Managing Director and Philippe Trautmann, Product Sales Manager, at Serac Distribution SARL to their offices in Filey, North Yorkshire this week.  And what better way of greeting French visitors to the Yorkshire region than by handing out a couple of ‘Le Tour’ Grand Départ T-shirts!

Serac Distribution is based in Bondoufle near Paris, France.  The company specialises in noise control products to be used in a number of occupational settings. The firm has been distributing Pulsar''s entire range of noise measurement products including its sound level meters, noise dosimeters and noise-activated warning signs with success for some years now. Demand for Pulsar Instruments'' noise measurement equipment in France and associated French territories has remained buoyant in the last few years despite a challenging economic climate and sales have increased year in, year out.  The Yorkshire manufacturer has been able to form a close working relationship with the team at Serac Distribution and is keen to expand this further in years to come.
Further trade links were helped by the launch of the Pulsar Nova range of sound level meters last year. The new product was met with great interest by health and safety professionals in France who are required to deal with and control similar Noise at Work issues as their UK counterparts.

John Hughes, International Sales Manager for Pulsar Instrument Plc said of the visit:
