Whilst installing a water treatment plant in their Desborough factory, the team at Rigid found that initial plans to take the tanks into the building horizontally couldn’t go ahead due to a lack of space. The only way to introduce the tanks was vertically which meant the roller shutter door already in place, needed to be removed in order gain the important extra height that was needed.

Ian Wilson from the Desborough based factory, contacted the Stanair office for help and advice towards finding a solution.

“A call was made to Stanair and their engineers were with us within 30 minutes,” says Ian, “An hour later and the door was out, meaning we were able to complete our installation. The next day, the engineers returned to reinstate the door, so from start to finish, it was a very speedy process indeed.”
