Chell Launch the MicroCAT

Chell have developed a version of the successful MicroDaq pressure scanner range to take advantage of EtherCAT communications. EtherCAT gives many advantages over Ethernet including higher bandwidth utilisation, integral time stamping and a common communications protocol. Therefore, customers who already have EtherCAT (which requires no special hardware) can plug a MicroCAT into their system and acquire time stamped data without writing any special code!

The MicroCAT has all the other benefits of the MicroDAQ and provides high speed, high accuracy data.

Measurement Specialities Launches the QDCM Miniature Quick Disconnect
 
The QDCM miniature quick disconnects provide reliable pneumatic connections for pressure scanning tubing. They are available in 19, 31, 36 and 55 way configurations and their small size makes them ideal for wind tunnel, automotive and flight test applications. Seal integrity and reliability is achieved through the combination of stainless steel hex nut, silicone gasket (with moulded-in O-ring detail) and high quality machined threads. Locator pins ensure proper alignment which makes the unit compatible with previously manufactured parts from other suppliers.

The QDCM is priced to be considerably less expensive than similar components from other suppliers. The QDCM range is held on stock at Chell together with tubing, springs and other accessories to ensure a quick delivery.

GE Announce the release of their new Druck Pressure Calibrator, the DPI611, for June 2014.
 
The Portable Pressure Calibrator is a product that Druck defined over 30 years ago and that has developed through three generations. Building on each previous generation, the DPI6XX has become the "go-to" standard for portable pressure calibrators, with a user base in the tens of thousands.

Chell will be in a position to supply and support this exciting updated product from June 2014.

Chell now offer the ''Megatorr'' range of SAES bulk gas purifiers and Palladium Diffuser Hydrogen purifiers
 

In addition to the wide range of SAES ''Point of Use'' gas purifiers, including ambient temperature (canister) and heated getter. Chell now offer the SAES Megatorr range of bulk gas purifiers, and the SAES range of Palladium Diffuser Hydrogen purifiers. Bulk gas purifiers are capable of purifying a very wide range of gases to a whole site or process, while still achieving sub ppb levels of impurity. Palladium diffusers provide ultra-pure hydrogen. Direct replacements for obsolete Johnson Matthey cells are available.
