The Open Jaw Current Meter

Ethos has launched ''The Open Jaw,'' a 3550 current meter unlike anything else on the market.

Able to automatically give a value without a range being entered and boasting a slim shaped design, makes measuring AC currents easier than ever before.

The Ethos 3550 can measure voltages to 999.9V DC, 750V AC and resistance to 10,000 Ohms with a continuity sounder allowing technicians and electrical contractors to perform multiple tests on one instrument. It will automatically detect which setting is required as soon as the user applies the instrument to the value they wish to take the reading off, providing an easy and safe testing procedure. The jaw is wide enough to accept a cable with an outer diameter of 16mm.

The large display provides excellent visibility; the unit also has an automatic power off function. On power up, the meter displays the internal battery capacity as a percentage.
