The Plastic Alternative
Morplan has recently launched a range of Plastic Mannequins to offer a real alternative to the traditional fibre glass construction.
The new mannequins are not only half the price but are lightweight, making them easier to handle, hardwearing and, when the time comes, recyclable. Stocked in male and female versions in black, white, gloss and matt finishes, each headless figure has a removable neck cap that can be replaced with a choice of optional heads. Buy a couple of heads with each body and you can make your displays look different each time without investing in (or having to store) extra models. Morplan’s Plastic Mannequins start at just £99 each (ex VAT). An Essential version in fleshtone was introduced in September for just £75.
If you prefer the feel and quality of a fibreglass dummy, their Realistic Range offers superb styling in a variety of poses and finishes. There are also tailors dummies, body forms, torsos, body shells, display heads, hands and feet to choose from.
