CSL responds to market demands with www.spirals.co.uk
With almost 100 UK sales and an ever increasing demand for the latest innovative, compact column designed Spiral Conveyor Elevators from Conveyor Systems Ltd (CSL), the company has now secured the domain name www.spirals.co.uk to assist those companies that are searching for a qualified, experienced and reliable supplier.
These spiral elevator/lowerators offer a cost-effective flexible solution to materials handling, where products must be raised or lowered vertically between varying floor levels in a continuous flow.A Spiral Conveyor is a proven reliable concept in elevating or lowering products and features one of the smallest footprints available and therefore, requires less floor space than conventional inclined belt conveyors. They are more versatile, reliable and faster than many available elevators or lifts.
CSL spiral elevators are today being used in a rapidly growing number of small to large companies across a broad spectrum of industries, effectively conveying loads 24/7 including boxes, cases, crates, totes, containers, shrink wrapped packs, bags, bundles, pales, ……….. etc.
CSL’s Spiral Conveyor Elevators are of modular design and are available in several standard versions to accommodate a wide range of loads and applications. With just one drive motor per spiral, this results in substantial energy savings and ensures quick and simple systems integration. They require minimum maintenance and operate at a very low noise level.
These units are reversible as standard for dual operation such as batch feeding or replenishment to/from various floor levels whilst multi-lane units with their separate drives allow continuous flow in both directions. They come complete with an inverter for speed variation and being able to ramp the speed down also provides either on or off-line buffer accumulation.
Twin lane reversible spirals are also available to cater for modern packaging and logistic systems operating in dual lanes between different floor levels, with each lane being controlled separately and capable of running in opposite directions at differing speeds if required.
They can easily be linked to CSL’s new flexible conveying system that is based on and totally compatible with the spirals advanced design, on which a wide range of products can be transported around curves and up inclines besides long straight sections. With only one motor driving long sections of conveyor, systems are simple to integrate, have less transfer issues and are far more energy efficient.
