Sport Fencing Specialist JB Corrie have recently installed their revolutionary new tennis practice fence at a small single court club near Petersfield headquarters, and the members are delighted.
Great Champions often say they spent many a solitary hour as children hitting a tennis ball against a wall. Usually it was a house or garage wall, or sometimes a purpose-built brick wall at the local club. Now a revolutionary new see-through practice fence has been developed which provides the same benefits as the traditional solid wall but whith considerable aesthetic and practical improvements.Rake is a village a few miles north of Petersfield in Hampshire, the home of specialist sports fencing manufacturers, J.B Corrie and Co Ltd. The village has a single court tennis club and the company recently completed the manufacture and installation of a revolutionary ServeAce tennis practice fence which has met with strong approval from the club''s members.
Rake club member Alison Glasspool, who had previously used a ServeAce practice fence at another tennis club, was asked to carry our a research and feasibility study. A demonstration of a ServeAce fence was arranged to give members of the Rake Club the opportunity to try it for themselves.
The successful demonstration led to an order being placed with J.B Corrie, and following installation Peter Collard, Chairman of Rake Tennis Club, commented "The ServeAce Practice fence has been well received by the members and is a welcome addition to the club facilities" Mr Collard also commented "that members were pleasantly surprised at how well the ServeAce had blended in with the existing Tennis Court.
