Gilgen launches Automatic Door Specification Library
An automatic door resource library designed to help architects during the specification process has been launched by Gilgen Door Systems. Available free on CD, DVD or USB the library contains NBS specifications, technical drawings, test certificates and detailed information across Gilgen’s extensive range of automatic pedestrian door systems.
A professionally designed user interface enables architects to easily navigate across different types of door systems helping to identify the right solution for any project. CAD drawings and detailed product files are immediately available without the need to locate and download them online.Roger Massey, Marketing Manager at Gilgen Door Systems explains “Whilst technical information and drawings are available to download from our website, we wanted to help architects locate the right door system for their projects and save time in downloading files. The CD has all the technical data conceivably required, fully supported through our national specification hotline.”
The specification hotline is manned by a team of highly experienced automatic door specialists who guide architects through the specification process, answer questions and ensure any proposed solution is fit for purpose and meets safety regulations. The team is based at Gilgen’s UK manufacturing and design centre in Derbyshire, which also has the capacity to create bespoke entrance solutions for unique or unusual architectural concepts.
Due to growing demand Gilgen Door Systems recently doubled the size of its national team of automatic door advisors. Being regionally based the team offers advisory meetings, project based support and RIBA approved CPD’s specifically designed to meet the needs of architects.
